The Festive Gift Fair 2015

Wow what a day! Just got home and I'm shattered! The gift fair was amazing but very busy and huge!

Just to give you an idea of how big and how many stalls there were!

It was on from 0930 til 1730 and we arrived about 1100 after parking and walking to the NEC which was a good 15 minute walk from the car park.

The atmosphere was fantastic and everyone had bags and bags of stuff! I loved the Christmas decorations and the entertainment they put on like the band and the pianist playing Christmas music, it really added to the atmosphere. They also had characters walking about like Iron Man and the characters from Frozen as well as Santa obviously and a few pants type people interacting.

There were stalls for everything you can think of, not just festive stuff.  We purchased a big Christmas design bag at the entrance for £2.50 to carry our purchases in.

There wasn't as many food options as I thought there would be and this meant long queues if you wanted anything to eat! I was pretty reluctant to stop and eat as the fair was so big and queuing would really have put huge pressure on us seeing everything in one day. I got some gorgeous chocolate strawberries and also some pork scratching a which were divine to keep me going! I also brought some tasty fudge!

Like everywhere that sells products I suppose there was some pretty hard sellers which was a bit off putting but we just avoided them! If I want to buy something I will without being pressured into it on the spot!!

My favourite buy was definitely this family Christmas ornament....

I picked up a few props for our elves this year too and also a few Christmas presents for the girls so I can't say anymore as they read this!

I got some bunting and coasters for my new extension....

All in all we had a fantastic day and spent far too much money but have decided as it's an annual event to make it a tradition to go every year from now on! If you haven't been it's definitely worth a visit and you can buy tickets on the door though they are a little more expensive than advance purchase ones.

Happy festivities, the holidays are coming!!!
