Little Passports

A few weeks back I came across this fantastic product for children, 'Little Passports' whilst having my daily dose of Facebook! My first thought was that it was such an amazing idea to help teach the children about our world and the other countries.

Let me give you a bit of background information on this amazing product taken from their website!

Our Story

We’re two moms (and best friends) who have a shared vision: inspiring children to learn about the world. That’s why, in 2009, we launched Little Passports.
Growing up, we were both exposed to different cultures, whether it was moving between the US and England, or growing up in a Chinese-American household. Those personal experiences taught us how important it is for children to learn about geography and the world around us. Now that we have children, it's important to us to provide those opportunities to learn while inspiring the imagination.
At Little Passports, our subscriptions create those opportunities, and certainly spark the imagination! Our products deliver discovery and adventure to children ages 3-12, and we’ve also built a wonderful community of parents, grandparents and educators that share our vision. All together, we have built a business that we are incredibly proud of.

They also do a USA edition but this isn't available in the UK yet. The FAQ section on the website answers all the questions about subscribing and shipping

We were sent the world edition to review and I have to say I think it's great, Riley had such fun doing the activities and loves the passport and has decided he is collecting all the boarding passes. The suitcase that the starter kit arrived in is great for storing all the bits in and keeping it all together. It's great that the children learn about different countries around the world and have fun at the same time! Even the 2 older ones who helped Riley do some of the activities because he is at the lower age the kit is aimed at (6 years) are excited for next months arrival!

Hope your children have as much fun and learn lots like mine did. This would also make a great gift for Christmas or a birthday! Educational but definitely makes learning fun and definitely not boring!

  8. This is the sort of thing that appeals to me hugely as a fanatical traveller. I'm sure my kids would have loved it when younger.

  9. My children would be so interested in this, especially my son, who is already extremely excited about the rest of the world outside the UK. It's so important that children are educated about other countries and people who are different to ourselves.
