School Pictures 2015/16

Last week the kids had their individual and family school photographs done (the class ones are done around May time I think) and today we received the proofs back! It's the first one of all the kids together and I love it! Can't believe my babies are growing up so fast!

Riley is in Year 1, Keira in Year 6 and Ellie in Year 8. When Lexie starts school Ellie will be in 6th form or college!! That's a scary thought!!

I had 4 pictures to choose from and have ordered the 2 individual ones and the group one of all of them as they aren't the cheapest so can't afford all of them! I paid £10.75 for a 7x5 so even just one print of 3 photos cost me over £30 and that's the cheapest option! I didn't really see the point in buying the one of just Keira and Riley.

They do packs but I when I've brought them in previous years I've always be left with loads of photos I didn't need! The packs are great value if you have people to give them to plus you can kill 2 birds with one stone and use them as Christmas presents too!!

The school have used the same company for the last 3 or 4 years and it's good because you can order online and get delivery to school or direct to your home plus if you do order online they throw in some free mini prints, though I am wondering if its just this company that is expensive or whether this is an average price nationally in schools.

Everything is so expensive nowadays and it seems the school always want money for something, days trips or residential's, its never ending! How much are your school photographs cost? I'm just wondering how our school prices compare to others

  1. What some great pictures, I've seen a lot of people saying about the price of photos - it is crazy how much you have to pay in some instances. x

  2. I think school photos are struggling and it will only get worse as we all take so many of our own photos digitally now it is not what it once was.

  5. School photos are expensive but there's something about them, as a memory of passing years, that means we just keep on paying.

  9. You've got a nice selection of pictures there, but I'm always shocked by the prices too. In fact, we didn't bother with the last lot we had.

  10. Our last lot weren't good and for the first time I didn't buy any - crazy prices, more than yours I think! Have definitely got more natural ones that I prefer. Yours are lovely though, I'd pay if mine were as good!
