Back 2 School 2015/16

Well all seems to be going well, I have 3 happy children!

Riley went straight in on his first day in Year 1 without even looking back! He saw his friends and made a bee line for them. At pick up he came bounding out and said he really enjoyed it and liked his new teacher. He did say it was boring as they had to do more work and less play lol!! He was fine again the second day too so that was good. He has gone to bed tonight a very tired boy. On Monday he will have his other teacher teaching him as he has 2 part time teachers this year, 1 is 2 days a week and the other for 3 days. Hopefully he will like her as much as he likes the one this week, though apparently she a little stricter!  Once he's settled in for a few weeks I'll speak to his teacher about where he needs his support in place of at all.

Keira was very teary about going back to school and starting Year 6 but after a little talk she felt a lot better and went in fine thankfully as its the worst feeling leaving one of your babies crying at school. She's had a lot of friendships issue in her class and its really knocked her confidence. She came out buzzing at the end of the day and said her teacher was really nice and couldn't wait to go back the next day. She came home with lots of information on trips her class have planned for the year including a trip to the local hospital for an IMPS course and also a form to sign up for the Cycling proficiency course which will be really good for her.

Ellie went back to school today (pointless day really!) and found out who her new teachers for the year were and sorted out her lesson planner. She was really looking forward to seeing all her friends again bless her as she didn't see them a lot over the holidays.

So here we are back to normality, manic mornings of dashing out the house at silly o'clock to do the school run :) I love it!!
