Ashes into Glass

When we lost my mum, my dad decided that he would like to keep her ashes at home with the idea that when he died we would scatter their ashes together.

Whilst at the funeral directors organising mums funeral we saw a leaflet on a company called Ashes into Glass. They create jewellery out of glass incorporating a loved ones ashes.

The idea of this totally amazed us and my sister, dad and I decided to each get a ring created. As well as rings the company do pendants and paperweights too

You have the option to choose between silver, gold and white gold and in my case the company sourced platinum for me that they don't normally do which in itself shows the level of customer satisfaction they aim for!

You have a choice of coloured glass you would like and can also choose your own special words engraved.

It took 6 weeks for the rings to be made and the cost quite a bit but I think you'll agree that something so very special and cherished requires amazing quality which they truly do have on abundance.

My ring has not left my finger since I got it and gives me the reassurance that my mum is back with me where she belongs.

Ashes into glass is such a fantastic idea and gives people who are experiencing probably the worst and hardest times of their lives the chance to keep the memory of their loved ones with them forever and help them with the grieving process.

I am eternally grateful to them for giving me the chance to keep mum with me all the time
