Take a look through my #weekendwindow

http://www.themcallens.co.uk/2015/08/take-look-through-my-weekendwindow.html

We've had a fairly quiet weekend due to illness. Both Lexie and I have had raging high temperatures and my head has just been banging! I really hope Lexie didn't feel as bad as I did bless her!

On Friday we didn't do anything apart from chill at home, the girls helped me loads with Riley and Lexie and also around the house. Love them, they were super stars and really looked after me! Luckily the builders left fairly early as they have finished concreting the footings so couldn't do much more until it had dried.

On Saturday the girls went to their dads so it was just me and the 2 littlies. Hubby popped back to pick Riley up so they could go and feed the cows for a few hours then we just watched a few DVDs as still wasn't feeling 100% but Lexie was loads better fortunately.

On Sunday Riley had his last Rugbytots lesson of the term. The coaches helper is taking over the full coaching next term so took control of the lesson which put Riley totally out of sorts bless him, he wouldn't practicing passing just wanted to kick, wanted a red ball not a yellow one, wanted to be a gorilla not a tiger in the jungle game etc.. it doesn't take much, just a change in his normal routine to knock everything out. It's one of his little traits bless him. To me I expect it but to others it just looks like he's being a naughty little boy :( and i still feel like I have to justify his behaviour to people but I'm getting better with it! The coaches are aware of the situation so that all that matters, they have been amazing and once they realised it had effected Riley they sat him down and explained it more and he loves his new coach Tiarnan so all was good by the end of the lesson.

Weather was lovely all weekend, I think we are predicted rain in the next few days so hopefully that will clear the air a bit.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend :)
